Frances Marie Taylor, 80, passed away on April 23, 2026. She was born on January 14, 1946, and was a resident of Spring, Texas. Frances will be remembered with deep affection as a beloved presence in the lives of those who knew her—steady in her devotion, generous in spirit, and guided by an honesty that was both grounding and reassuring. Even in life’s ordinary moments, her kind-hearted nature and gentle humor had a way of bringing comfort and lightness to the people around her.
Raised in Decatur, Alabama, Frances grew up with roots that stayed close to her heart. She attended Decatur High School, beginning a life marked by perseverance and purpose.
Frances built a working life that reflected both diligence and quiet distinction. She worked at Boeing, where she is credited for helping put the first man on the moon—an extraordinary contribution carried with characteristic humility. She also worked for Continental Airlines and ADP, earning respect through reliability, warmth, and the straightforward integrity she brought to every role.
Frances was married to Alfred F. Taylor, and together they built a family that remained at the center of her world. She was a committed mother and wife, and she poured herself into the lives of her two sons, John and Marcus and wife, Jenny Taylor. Her love only grew as her family expanded; she adored her six grandchildren, taking genuine joy in watching them grow and in following their interests. In the way she showed up—consistently, thoughtfully, and with open-handed generosity—she made each grandchild feel treasured, and she delighted in spoiling them.
