George Lawrence Ogg Sr., 89, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, God’s stage band gained a great sax/clarinet man. Dad slipped peacefully from this would to the next less than 3 months from his 90th. He was a WWII navy vet. He had many jobs through the years but his last one was with the city water dept. Before his wife Alma died, the two used to go camping, fishing and hunting at their property near Canyon Lake. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Sharon Lima. George is survived by his sons; George Lawrence Ogg, Jr. and Daniel Ogg and his wife Diane, grandchildren; Adam, Nichole, Daniel Jr., and Amber. A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Sunday, January 2, 2011, 12pm at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home Main chapel. A Graveside service is set for Monday 9am at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. “Everyone who ever met Dad, liked him and he will be missed by all who knew him.”
