

Gloria Yvonne Ferguson was born on March 19, 1953 to Sherman Ferguson, Sr. and Eleanor Earl Ferguson. She was the fifth of six siblings born under this union. “ Puddin”, as she was affectionately called by her father, was the only girl with five brothers. She attended school in Houston Independent School District at Eight Avenue Elementary, Hogg Middle, and Reagan High School. Gloria was united in marriage with Leon Bozeman, Jr. To this union two children were born; Terra and Jamaile. Her girls were her pride and joy. She was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, where she retired from after 30 years of service. Gloria accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Spending time with family and friends, bowling, and making people smile were a few of her favorite past times. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents Sherman Ferguson Sr. and, Eleanor Ferguson Gary, and by one brother James Edward Ferguson. She leaves behind to cherish her memories; two daughters Terra Gilder (Drayton) and Jamaile Bledsoe. She also leaves to cherish her memories five grandchildren; Jerrick Bledsoe II, Delaney Gilder, Joshuah Bledsoe, Dyllan Gilder, and Jillian Bledsoe. Five brothers; Sherman Ferguson, Jr, Kenneth Ferguson (Constalene), Larry Ferguson, Ronald Ferguson (Gwenette), and Reginald Ferguson. She also leaves to mourn one sister-in-law Debrah Ferguson; two aunts, Annie Mae Lee and Nettie Lee Fanning and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
