It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Guadalupe Gamboa, who passed away on June 3, 2025, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 63.
Born on February 6, 1962, in Houston, Texas, to Guadalupe Sr and Anita Gamboa. Lupe lived a life full of love, service, and joy. He worked faithfully for many years as a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service, where he was known for his dedication, kindness, and strong work ethic.
Outside of work, Lupe found joy in the rhythm of music, especially playing the congas, on the golf course, and in the company of his friends. He had a magnetic personality, a big heart, and a sense of humor that could light up any room. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family, who meant the world to him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maricella Gamboa; his five children: Martha (Angel Arredondo), Raymond, Christina (Justin DiLauro), Vanessa, and Mikayla; his six grandchildren: Angel Jr., Xavier, Alyssa, Jesse, Rhett, and Camila; and his great-granddaughter, Jordyn.
He also leaves behind many extended family members and close friends who will always remember his generous spirit and unwavering love.
