Gwen Gilbert, 85, departed this life Sunday, August 10th. She passed peacefully at her home with daughter Lili by her side. Gwen will be remembered for her love of music and dancing and as an avid fan of the Houston Astros. Gwen was proceeded in death by one brother and eight sisters. She leaves behind her daughter Lili and son-n-law Karl. A small gathering and service will be held at Forest Park Lawndale funeral home Thursday, August 14th at 10 am. In lieu of flowers the family ask for contributions to the American Cancer Society or donations may be made to a local animal rescue group of your choice.
