Harriet Ruth Rucker-Shepherd born February 25, 1922 in Kerrville, Texas to William Edward Smalley and Maude Nolan Smalley, passed away on July 17, 2012 in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by: husband, Jerome C. Shepherd and second husband, Sammie Rucker. Harriet leaves to cherish her memories: sons: Roy J. Shepherd & wife Mary, Ray Shepherd & wife Cristina, Gary D. Shepherd & wife Becky; grandchildren: Rhonda Kay Pagel & husband Tom, Roy Jr & wife Kathryn, Ray Joe Don & wife Wendy, Raynelle Jeffcoat, Misty Shepherd, Thomas & Kendra, Dustin & wife Molly, Dawn and husband Will Kepler; 16 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 3PM on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Forest Park Lawndale Main Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
