On February 17, 1940, in Church Point Louisiana, a daughter was born to the late Mr. Elton Judge and Mrs. Leona Sennett Judge. They named her Hazel Marie. She grew up in Church Point, where she was baptized into Christ on March 20, 1940, at Our Mother of Mercy Church.
She moved to Houston in 1954 where she met and married her former husband Herbert L. Miller in May 1961. To this union two children were born. In June of 2007, she again accepted Christ in her life by joining St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
On July 7th, 2024, God called his beloved angel home to rest. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons; Gary E. Miller of San Antonio, Texas, and Dana Kevin Miller of Houston, Texas, one sister-in-law; Gladys Judge, four brothers who preceded her in death, James, Lesley, Preston, Francis Judge, and her sister; Gertie M. Coleman. One surviving sister; Mary B. Hood of Houston Texas, two grandchildren; Damien N. and Raven N. Miller, and great grandson; Roman Gabriel Riojas.
