

Helen Wiley, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025 at the age of 96 in Tomball, Texas. She was born April 5, 1928 in Houston, Texas to Otto and Freda (Menn) Seidl. She was the baby of 6 children. She grew up in the Heights and attended Incarnate Word.
She met Daniel H Wiley in 1947 and they were married on March 18, 1949 in St Theresa’s Catholic Church in Houston. Helen was proud to be a homemaker and loved her family. She was always hosting wedding and baby showers and caring for loved ones that were ill or recovering from surgery. She loved to cook and made the best pumpkin rolls and divinity. She was always by Daniel’s side and supported him in the many business ventures they shared. They were married almost 67 years when Daniel passed away in 2016.
She loved family gatherings and was always ready for celebrations, sharing a toast with her favorite margarita. She loved going to the casino and playing penny slots. Somehow, she always won. Such fun and many happy memories. She will be greatly missed.
Helen is survived by one daughter, Danean Myers and her husband, David and one grandson, Jason Hogan and his wife, Sarah.
A funeral service will be held at Earthman’s Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, Texas on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 10:00 am.
