Howard was preceeded in death by his father, Nelson Martinson and his mother, Tina Martinson.
Howard is survived by his wife, Alice Martinson; sons, Don Martinson, Dale Martinson and Michael Martinson; brother, Donald Martinson; grandchildren, Chad Martinson, Brett Martinson, Jason Martinson, Kendra (Martinson) Lindhal, David Martinson, Jennifer Martinson, Chris Martinson and Jeff Martinson; 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 12pm Tuesday October 4, 2011 and services will begin at 2pm at Waltrip Funeral Directors, followed by entombment at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
