Ibaldo Cardona Borrego, Sr., 66 years old of El Remolino, Coahuila passed away peacefully on October 15, 2019 surrounded by family. He was born August 29, 1953 to Panfilo Borrego Montalvo and Hortencia Cardona de Borrego (predeceased).
Ibaldo is survived by his wife Maria Luisa Moreno Borrego of 44 years, son Ibaldo Moreno Borrego, Jr, and wife Shannon, son Cesar Moreno Borrego, daughter Gladys Borrego Granell and husband Albert. He is also survived by his sisters, Ana Maria Torres, Maria Linos Sanchez, Hortencia Reyes, Maria de la Luz Salazar; as well as eight (8) grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and other friends. He is predeceased by brothers Isaúl Borrego Cardona, and Homero Borrego Cardona. Ibaldo was a very passionate man who enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00am at Resurrection Catholic Church, 915 Zoe Street, Houston, Texas 77020. The Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery
