Inez Rosie Walker Ross, 88, passed away January 29, 2017 at her daughter Stephanie's home in La Porte, TX. She was born November 19, 1928 in Richmond, TX to Alec and Alice Walker. Inez married her husband, Harold M. Ross, Sr., on August 16, 1947 in Houston, TX. She is predeceased by her husband Harold Ross, Sr., brother James T. Walker, sisters Maggie Walker, Claudie Walker, and Irene Childress, and her son-in-law Doug Moore. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters; Susan Varner and husband Sam Hatfield of Arkansas, and Stephanie Nichols and husband Curt of La Porte, TX, sons Harold M. Ross, Jr., and wife Brenda of Cypress, TX, and Steven Ross and his wife Mavis of Pearland, TX, grandchildren; Allison Ross Schuetz, Kimberlea Moore of Las Vegas, NV, Samantha and husband Michael Coogan, and Megan Morgan, and Justin Ross Morgan, and great grandchildren; Gracen, Tucker, Amanda, Jonathon, Miles, Track, Cohen, Logan, and Brooklyn.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 2 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Colonial Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 3 at 11:00 am at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home with interment immediately following at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
