Inocencio Herrera, of Corpus Christi, Texas was called home to be with the Lord, on Saturday April 29th, 2017. He was a retired machinist from the oil industry of 40yrs plus. He was a devoted husband and family man. Inocencio was a hard worker at everything he did. He always tried to live right and would preach to others to do the same. The family knew him as “Chencho” and others may have known him as “Ino” and now we will all miss him.
Inocencio is survived by his wife of 51years, Maria D. Herrera and their three children. David Alexander Herrera, Oscar Z. Herrera & wife Jeanette and Naomi H. Martinez & husband Jose. Grand children: Cassandra N. Herrera, Oscar Alexander Herrera, Marisa M. Herrera, Alysia M. Martinez and Jose Xavier Martinez.
He is preceded in death by his mother Catalina M. Herrera and father Porfirio Herrera. His four sisters Eloisa Zamora, Ernestina Gomez, Simona Mayorga and Evangeline Herrera. He will be missed by his surviving siblings, Baudelia Garcia, Francis Lopez, Jose G. Herrera and Elva Durbin.
The family will be receiving guest Thursday (5/4/17) 5pm-9pm at Forrest Park Lawndale; Friday (5/5/17) 10:30am mass services at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Channelview, with a funeral procession to Forrest Park for burial service by 12:00pm Noon.
