I miss you today as much as the day you passed. Is is so lonely without you, not seeing your smile every day, not going places together or not being  able to just talk to you.

I knew Jack from the days I taught at Reagan. He was such a wonderful and delightful guy. He was not my student but his brother Mark was. I knew Jack as well as I knew Mark. I have so many wonderful memories of both. It was a honor to know them. I just learned of Jack's passing. I am devastated by this sad news.  

I grew up four houses down from Jack and all his brothers. We all played wiffle ball in his front yard. (Look it up if you don’t know what that is). Jack was a proud Marine and a great guy. Condolences to all his family members. Rest In Peace my friend. 

I just heard about Jack. A good friend as a kid. I lived down the street and one morning my mom looked outside and saw a boy about 5 sitting by our back door in pajamas and a straw cowboy hat. He came dow to see if I wanted to play. Always remembered that Jack story. Johnny T

Jack you were the love of my  life and I'm going to miss you so much. We were going on 47 years of marriage this coming August and still not enough time with you.
You thought of me and others always before  yourself and I guess looking back I took that for granted.
You were the best Husband, Dad, Grandaddy, Father-in-law, Friend, and Son and we all love you and will always miss you always. Rest in peace my sweet husband

While it has been decades since I last saw Jack, my heart hurt to learn that he is gone, and my very deep sympathies to his wife, son, and his entire family.  I was lucky to have grown up down the street from the Clark family, and my memories of those days and that family are wonderfully golden.  Jack became the brother I always wished I'd had, and I loved him as family.  When I think of him, the first thought is always of his incredibly beautiful smile.  The adage about a smile lighting up a room must surely have been written about Jack.  While that smile is gone for now, it is forever safe in our minds. My prayers for comfort and hope are with Jack's family and legion of friends. Rest in peace, Jack.  

I can’t remember a time when I didn’t know Jack as a friend and brother. Our families lived across the street from each other for fifty years. Jack and I were the same age, went to the same schools in kindergarten and high school. After school Jack entered the Corps and I went on to college.  As the years went by, there was life, with marriage, families, work and, sadly, longer times between seeing each other. However, as true friends know, when you get together, you pick up where you left off. So, Jack, I look forward to that day we pick up the conversation again. Until then, old son, Rest Easy and Semper Fi.
