Our beloved Jacqueline Renee Rodriguez(Jackie) of Houston, Texas was called home on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the age of 39. She was born on September 26, 1986, in Houston, Texas to Norma Villarreal and Joe Rodriguez.
Jackie was known for her outgoing personality and her incredible sense of humor. She had a way of making everyone around her laugh and feel welcome. With the biggest heart, she was always thinking of others and was the kind of person who would do anything she could to help someone in need. Her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Jackie dedicated many years of her life to childcare, where her passion and commitment led her to become the director of the beloved daycare, Growing in Graces. She poured her heart into her work, forming lasting bonds with the children, their families, and her coworkers, all of whom she considered part of her extended family. Jackie cared for every child as if they were her own, touching countless lives with her patience, kindness, and unwavering love.
Jackie is preceded in death by her father Joe Rodriguez, Jr.(Baby Joe), grandfather Joe Rodriguez, Sr., grandmother Andrea(Candy) Rodriguez, grandfather Luis (Cubano) Flores, and great-grandmother Antonia Osorio(Toni).
She is survived by her son, Richard Ramirez Mata III, mother Norma Villarreal, step-father Ernest Villarreal, sister Jennifer Guerrero, nephew David Aguilar, niece Jizelle Portillo, grandparents Adam and Anna Guerrero and Diane Flores, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
