Jacqueline was a Houstonian since 1936. She was a Reagan High School graduate and was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Lillie Shipley (founders of Shipley's Donuts); brothers, Lawrence Shipley, Jr., and Robert George Shipley; husband, John C. Lankford, Jr., and great-grandson, Reagan Gailley. Survived by her children, Lynda and Jeff Stephens, Larry Lankford and Mary Reed and Karen Wilkins; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous other loving family members.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 6, 2015 at Waltrip Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 4115 Blalock, Houston, TX 77080, The Rev. Russell A. Etzel, officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
