Jalil Hanna Foty, 79, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, June 15, 2014 in Missouri City,Texas. He was born in Ramallah, Palestine November 4th 1934. Jalil Hanna Foty is preceded in death by his Parents Hanna Foty and Jamila Foty, and his sister Jalila Antone Shanar. He is also preceded in death by his son Imad Jalil Foty. Jalil is survived by his beloved wife Lillian Zaybak Foty, his three sons Nihad Foty (Jean), Fuad Foty (Mona) Jihad Foty and two daughters, Dina Ibrahim Shanar and Ghada Foty Saifi (Samer). Jalil is survived by his 20 grand children and 15 great grand children. Jalil is also survived by his brother Mufid Foteh (Suhaila) as well as a host of relatives. May he rest in peace.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at St. George Orthodox Church at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at St. George Orthodox Church at 10:30 am with burial to follow at Forest Park Lawndale 6900 Lawndale Ave. Houston, Texas 77023.
