Jamal Khari Stone was born on May 19, 1987 in Washington, D.C. to Mark Stone and Veronica McBride. He was the youngest of two sons. By the age of two, Jamal was in a battle with cancer; in which God made him victorious. Although he had learning and physical limitations, Jamal always tried his best and gave his all. He was small in statue, but he had a great big heart. He loved to help people. Jamal grew up in Maryland and attended the Maryland public school system. He graduated from Thomas Johnson High School in 2006. He worked summer jobs through a youth job training agency in Frederick, Co. He has always been a hard worker. He and his family were affiliated with Maranatha Community Church of God. Upon relocating to Tomball, Texas in 2007, he joined The Church Without Walls, Pastor Ralph D. West. He accepted Christ and was baptized by Pastor West. He was a faithful member until death. Jamal was gainfully employed at Kroger on Cypresswood for nearly six years. He loved his job and cherished his Kroger family. Unexpectedly, Jamal was facing another similar battle and on Monday October 13,2014 at 9:34 am, God decided that Jamal should rest. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Walter and Dorothy Stone and Dollie Fifer. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: Devoted parents Mark and Natalie Stone, Veronica McBride, one brother Tamar Stone, sister-in-law Tarynn Gardner, one nephew Malachi Stone, grandfather William Fifer; six great aunts, one great uncle, five aunts, five uncles, and a host of cousins and friends.
