She is preceded in death by her son, Brandon A. Cox, her father, Edward Wilburn Anderson, her mother NathaLee McCoy, mother-in-law Rudene Cox, Father-in-Law, Preston Audie Cox, and many Aunts & Uncles.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Don Cox and her daughter, Carly Cox. Jan and Don were Married on June 30, 1970. Jan held a Real Estate Agent's license and managed and owned Century 21 Life Changers, Inc in Crosby. She was a member of the Crosby Huffman Chamber of Commerce where she won the "Amador Award" in 2014. She was very active in her Church and Community.
Jan was baptized at an early age and was a member of the Crosby United Methodist Church.
Jan was a Graduate of Furr High School and a member of the Matador Twirling squad.
A funeral service was held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, January 19, 2016.
