Jazmyn was born to Jaime and Sandra Gomez on August 31, 1999, in Houston, TX. She graduated from New Caney High School in 2017 and received a Bachelor of Arts Interdisciplinary Studies Degree from the University of Houston - Downtown in 2022.
She completed her first year as a Pre-K teacher with Northside Elementary of Cleveland ISD. Jazmyn had a true passion for teaching and had so much love for her students, friends and family. She loved playing Mario Party and Monopoly with her three siblings. She enjoyed movie and game nights with her various groups of friends. She loved going to concerts, Astros and Texans games, and having family get-togethers.
A visitation for Jazmyn will be held Friday, June 9, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023 with rite of committal to immediately follow.
Friends and family are encouraged to dress in Jazmyn's favorite colors of blue, pink and purple.
