Jesse M. Gonzales, of Houston, Texas died peacefully in his sleep Thursday April 21st, 2011 at his residence. Born in Houston, Texas, November 20, 1928, to Antonio and Lucia Gonzales, Jesse was a devoted husband and loving father who possessed an excellent work ethic. He was a great American for having served in the Navy during WWII. He loved music but most of all he loved the Lord. Jesse is preceded in death by his brother Tony Gonzales Jr. Jesse is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Stella, a son Gregory Gonzales (Paula), daughters; Patricia Graham (Michael), Jessica Alba (Angelo), Jacqueline Gonzales, grandchildren; Monica Garza (Brandon), Michael Rosales and Ariel Gonzales, great grandchild Greyson Garza, brothers; Louis Gonzales (Ruby), and Gilbert Gonzales, sister Lucy Montelongo, other sons and daughter; Jesse Gonzales Jr., Larry Gonzales and Linda Contreras and other grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 24, 2011, 4pm – 5pm. at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6pm later that evening. The funeral Service is scheduled for Monday, 2pm at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
