Jesus Sánchez Cunningham (Rosario), 96, a devout Catholic from Houston, Texas, returned to God peacefully in her home on 11/20/2025. She was surrounded by loved ones in her final days and took solace in knowing the Lord was watching over her.
Jesus was born in Ebano, San Luis Potosi Mexico in 1928. She came to America in 1948 where she met her husband Albert Wilson Cunningham. They went on to live a happy marriage of 62 years and raised three beautiful children.
Jesus was preceded in death by her husband Albert Wilson Cunningham Sr. who she will meet again in Heaven, and is survived by her Siblings Audias, Cristina, and Reyna. Her children, Albert Wilson Cunningham Il, Jeannette Marilyn Lillard, Arthur Ray Cunningham. Her grandchildren, Nadia Cunningham Sampy,
Albert Wilson Cunningham Ill, Nathan Cunningham, and Mary Lillard. As well as her great grandchildren, Dejia, Soleil, Albert Wilson Cunningham Ill., Ava, Isaiah, Isaac, Juliette, and Nathan Cunningham Il. All who know Jesus will be waiting for them in Heaven.
