Jimmy Wayne Harling, 68, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012. He was a native Houstonian and a decorated Vietnam veteran. Retired Houston Firefighter after 31 years of service. Preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Harling. Survived by: Sister, Shirley Ann Henson; Brother, Roy D. Harling, Sr. and wife Linda; Sister, Patricia L. Colburn and husband Terry; Stepsons, John and Donnie Coupland; Several grandchildren; Numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Service, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Earthman Resthaven Chapel. Interment to follow at Houston National Cemetery.
