Joel Marinez Sr., was called home to be with the Lord at age 46 on May 7, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father, Valentine Martinez Sr., and mother in law, Adelina Hinojosa. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Hinojosa Martinez, son Joel "Joey" Martinez Jr., mother Mary Cruz Martinez, brother Valentine Martinez Jr., sister Christina Munguia, numerous nieces and nephews, and countless family members and friends. Visitation will be held from 5pm-9pm on Thursday, May 12, 2016, with a rosary at 7pm at Forest Park Lawndale. Funeral Mass will begin 10am at St. Patrick's Church on Friday, May 13, 2016, following funeral procession at Forest Park Lawndale
