Johnie Frank Michalsky

JOHNIE FRANK MICHALSKY, age 73, born June 23, 1952 in Houston, Texas to John Michalsky and Lorine Chovanec. Michalsky died at his home with his family around him after a gallant battle with a lengthy illness on Thursday, December 10, 2025 in Spring, Texas. Johnie was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Nathan Michalsky. He is survived by his wife Mary Michalsky; sons, Kristopher, Nicholas and wife Susan; grandchildren Christian, Kaela and husband Oliver, Alexander, Joseph, Bradley and Annabelle. On September 14, 1974 in Houston, Texas, Johnie married the love of his life, Mary Taylor, and worked for Baker Hughes for 32 years. He was a very faithful man. Johnie was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, and a member of S.P.J.S.T. Lodge No.88. His hobby was collecting guns and cars. He loved being with his family and taking Mary out to dinner every Saturday night.

A visitation will be held at Earthman Resthaven, located at 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, on December 17, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A rosary will take place at the same location on December 17, 2025, from 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm.

The Funeral Mass will be conducted at Christ the Good Shepherd, situated at 18511 Klein Church Rd, Spring, TX 77379, on December 18, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The Rite of Committal will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.

A reception for gathering family and friends will be held at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery and will start at 3:00 pm on December 18, 2025.
