After a 65 year friendship with John you will understand we shared many stories. some of which I wouldn't repeat in mixed company. However, John had a way of making many of his friends feel special by giving each a nickname.  I was "Bluechee".  So watch out God - your new Nomenclacher may be "Mr. Big".
Adios John. You will always be in our hearts an prayers.

To my 'Little Brother' Johnny, who taught me to play golf, drink a beer and loaned me his beloved 'Bel Air' to go on dates. I will miss you.  Rest in peace Johnny.



My heart breaks knowing that I won't see my Uncle Johnny anymore.  He was the one male constant in my life. I loved him so much and respected him. He always had a smile for everyone.  I am glad I had Sunday  to see him. it hurt to see so much pain.  I know he knew I was there for him.  The heavens opened up and welcomed him home. I know he is smiling down on us and is singing with the angels.  I know he is at peace with Jesus. 
I will cherish our last sip of good tequila we shared among family. 
Aunt Alice, Sandra and Michelle, we are here for you always, anytime.  We LOVE you ladies  dearly.

My deepest condolences to Aunt Alice, Michele and Sandra.  I'll always remember Uncle Johnny's smile and those kind words "Thank you hija"   If I served  him anything.  We will cherish many get together's eating great food and listening to Tejano and Mariachi  music; did I mention the Tequila shots.    Rest in Peace Uncle Johnny; Praying that God gives strength and comfort to family during these difficult times.

I don't remember when I first met Johnny C, mainly because from day one he treated me like family.  So many fond memories, cooking dinner and sipping tequila.  He had a real love of life and family.

Uncle, I will never forget you.  In my mind and my memory, you and Aunt Alice are one and the same.  With one, came the other.  We were fortunate enough to have had you both in our lives throughout.  Wherever we were stationed, you came to see us, and thus, you were a constant, and what fun and excellent times we had!  When I reflect, I have snapshots rattling through my mind; images of all of us at the house, in pubs, in cars traveling to wherever with mom driving; sitting outside the house drinking and BS-ing, spit-balling about music, politics, our favorite drinks, etc.  They are stellar memories; happy and contented memories of a group of people who became family by chance and who like and love each other.   I'm so glad that you have been a part of my life, but I want you to know that you will live on here with us.  I'll never look at my lovely Aunt without also seeing you standing next to her, holding her little hand.  That's the image I've always known; the image that's happily stuck in my heart, and I thank you for all the fun, the laughs, the kindnesses and the good times we had together.  I will see you soon, my darling uncle.  I love you.  Chani xoxoxo

My condolences and prayers for you all during this time of sorrow.

When ever my Uncle Eddie was missing in action most of the time he was with Johnny. I am sure my Uncle Eddie is showing him around and reminiscing about the good old days.

I remember when he and Alice came to England and when he and Rod went to play golf at the local golf course, how shocked he was that there were no golf carts, that he actually had to carry his own clubs over his shoulder. He needed a few drinks after that ordeal but then, thaaaaat's  Johnny!
