Jose Barbosa 88, passed away May 10, 2022 in Katy, Tx. Retired from the City of Houston as a Diesel Mechanic.
Jose is preceded in death by his spouse Genoveva Barbosa, Son Richard Barbosa, Daughter Melinda Barbosa.
He is survived by his sons Joe Barbosa (Helen), Juan Barbosa (Ximena), Rey Barbosa ( Deena). Daughters: Diana (Jimmy) Esparza, Anna (David) Robledo. Grandchildren: Angelia Trejo, Jose Barbosa Jr, John Barbosa & Jonathan Garcia, George Tanguma Jr & Michael Tanguma, Rey & Jesse Barbosa, René & Brandon Montoya 17 Great grandchildren, Sisters: Elida Zurita, Frances Reyna, Adela Munoz & Julia Karns.
Visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home from 5pm-9pm, with a rosary at 7pm, on Monday, May 16, 2022. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10am, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7250 Harrisburg Blvd, Houston, TX 77011. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
We will love you forever. I’ll like you always: As long as I’m living my daddy you’ll be. Love your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Our dad is our hero! Amphibious Marine! Semper Fi! Oorah! My dads favorite saying was Marines never die!
