Jose L. Tamez

Jose L. Tamez, age 62, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survived by his wife of 36 years, Martha Tamez; children, Rebeca Tamez, Martha Arechar and husband Oscar, and Ismael Tamez and fiancé Adriana Alvarez; grandchildren, Cassandra Fernandez, Iliana Rivas, Genesis Rivas, Larissa Arechar, Josiah Arechar, Isaiah Arechar; and Mila Arechar; siblings, Tomas Tamez and wife Maria Teresa, Maria Teresa Padilla and husband Tony, Raul Tamez and wife Ida, Rolando Tamez, Jovita Morin and husband Adrian, Blanca Tamez and husband Leonel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. The Celebration of Life Funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 4, 2019 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
