Joseph Narcisse Sr. was born on January 7, 1933 in St. Martinville, LA to proud and loving parents, John and Theresa Narcisse. Blessed to be raised in a loving Christian home, Joseph accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized.
Joseph moved to Houston, TX where he met the love of his life, Doris Davis. They were married January 1, 1954. He was a devoted husband for over sixty-seven years. A loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He was a carpenter for Manhattan Construction Company for over 20 plus years. After retiring, he proudly started his own project management company and ran the day to day operations for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Theresa and eight siblings: Clovis, Willis, Clayese, Cleveland, Alberta, Captolia, Pauline, and Nola.
Joseph leaves behind his loving wife: Doris and five children: Mary Gordon, Gloria Lucas, Cynthia Narcisse-Booker, JoAnn Jefferies, and Joseph Narcisse Jr. His ten grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
