Josephine Ellen Lem, 89, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016. She was born October 11, 1926 In Houston, TX to parents, Alvin and Johanna Froehlich. Josephine is survived by her siblings, Gilbert Froehlich, Sr. (Bobbie Jean), Shirley Milton, and Nora Lee Froehlich (sister-in-law); numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Phillip G. Lem; siblings, Harold and Helen Froehlich, Alvin Froehlich, Jr., Thelma and Chet Janke, Gladys and Leslie Kahanek, Opal Scott, Alva Lee Nelson, and Gene A. Milton (brother-in-law). Visitation will be held Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 4-7pm at Heights Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be officiated by Pastor Tim Engel at 10AM, Monday, June 6, 2016 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 816 Roy St., Houston, TX 77007. Interment Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
