Josephine Voitle

It is with great sadness the family of Josephine Voitle announces her passing on March 20, 2026 at the age of 84. Josephine will be truly missed by her brother Anton Voitle and her sister by law Dolores Voitle.

She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Sandra, Pam and Todd, Mary, Rachel and Eric, David, Gary, Clarence Jr, Janice, Carol, Jimmy, Junior, JoAnn, Debbie, Michael, Mary and all their spouses and children. She adored her great nieces Hayden, Lena and Nicole. They will forever remember their “Aunt Jody”. There are many friends she has made over the years, especially Victoria, Merilee, Frances and Dorothy. They helped fill the void left by her best friend and sister Elvera.

Josephine was predeceased in death by her mother, Eufraznia Voitle, her father, Henry Voitle Sr, and her sisters Nick Ahlschlager, Ester Mae Ulbrich, Tillie Mae Kusy, Elvera Voitle and Henry Voitle Jr.

A funeral service in memory of Josephine Voitle will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, 11:00am at Waltrip Funeral Home, 1415 Campbell Road, Houston, TX 77055.

Interment will follow at the family plot in the Weimar Mason Cemetery, Weimar, Texas.
