Joyce Faye Williams Lloyd, loving mother, passed from this earth to eternity with Jesus Christ on April 20, 2013 at the age of 64. Joyce was born October 26, 1948 in Houston to Gertie and Edgar Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jason Michael Lloyd. Joyce was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Joyce was a graduate of John H. Reagan High School and the University of Houston. She was a CPA and operated a local accounting practice for many years. Joyce is survived by Janice L. Taylor and her husband Jim; Gerald Lloyd; Alan Lowe and his wife Sandy and numerous nieces and nephews, all of Houston. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Gethsemane Lutheran Church Building Fund at gethsemanelutheran.org, or to the charity of your choice.
