Juanita worked as a dedicated HISD bus driver for over 25 years. She was known for her caring spirit, always going above and beyond for her family, friends, and neighbors. Red roses were her favorite flower.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Apolinar Zuniga and Dolores Escamilla; sons Paul Anthony Ybanez and Richard Lee Ybanez Sr.; and granddaughter Angelina Soto.
Juanita is survived by her daughters Grace Ybanez Maciel, Iris Ann Ybanez, and Angelica Soto; grandchildren Richard Lee Ybanez, Jonathan Ybanez, Anna Perez, Aldo Beltran Jr., and Jose Beltran; and great-grandchildren Xylem Barrera, Ryoh Hinojosa, Emmory Hinojosa, Julian Ybanez, Jonovan Ybanez, Jade Ybanez, and Zayla Beltran. She also leaves behind her son in laws, Aldo Beltran Sr. and Daniel Maciel.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to everyone for the care and compassion shown to our loved one in her final days, and for the many prayers and well wishes shared throughout the year.
