

Kenneth James Anderson was born to Samuel and Lillias Anderson in Atlanta, Georgia on January 4, 1949. He was baptized at an early age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was very active in various group activities. As a child he attended C. W. Hill Elementary and later he would graduate from David T. Howard High School. Kenneth later met and married Delores McDay in 1969, and to this union three handsome sons were born. Kenneth was preceded in death by parents, his two sisters Bernice Peyton, Sandra Jones, and brother Arthur Anderson. Kenneth would later move to Houston in 1980 and began working for IMCO Services. He was also employed by the State of Texas where he would later retire. Kenneth was a long time active member of Windsor Village United Methodist Church where he participated in the Gospel Company and Worshiping Warriors. Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife Delores Anderson, three devoted and loyal sons Mareo Anderson, Carlos (Kimberly) Anderson, Demetrius (Tonya) Anderson Sr.; One committed sister, Maudie Booker, one faithful brother Samuel Anderson; ten loyal and dedicated grandchildren, D'Mecia, Omari, Johnathan, Mi'Kaela, Demetrius II, Dylan, Brittney Carlwynn Sr., Devinn, Farrier, five faithful great-grandchildren, and nieces Adrienne, Kenya, Shannon, nephews James, Antonio, Sean, Wesley and other relatives and faithful friends. Kenneth enjoyed traveling, fine dining and spending quality time with his family and close friends. He will truly be missed.
