Lachandra Marie Lewis

On September 6, 1983 in Houston, Texas, Deanna Williams and Lester Thomas were blessed with a precious baby girl, LaChandra Marie Nance. She attended school in North Forest ISD and later graduated from Forest Brook High School in 2000. She was captain of the flag team and a member of the volleyball team. She accepted Christ at an early age at Kashmere Gardens Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Gene A. Canada. LaChandra was united in Holy Matrimony to Kevin Lewis in 2008. To this union one child was born, Kevon Lewis. She was called home to Glory on July 27,2012. LaChandra was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Lewis, two grandmothers, Linda Nance and Mildred Thomas and her great grandmother Evelyn Cooper. She leaves to cherish her memories her two sons, Xavier Williams and Kevon Lewis, her mother, Deanna Perry (Greg), father, Lester Thomas, three sisters, Danica Provost, Tanice and Jamece Perry, grandfathers, James Nance and Lester Thomas Sr., two uncles Timothy Nance (Barbara), and Marvin Thomas, three aunts, Hazel Sanders (Joe), Claudia Naling (Travis), and Betty Thomas, four great aunts, Alneatha Cox, Lois Jones, Charlotte Chatman, Jeanette McDonald, and four great uncles, Melvin Williams, Reginald Chatman, Clay Chatman and Raymond Chatman and God father Darryl Reese and a host of cousins, relatives, and close loving friends.
