Larry H. Cunningham

Larry H Cunningham passed away August 14, 2015. He was born on February7, 1941 in Danville, IL to Earl and Dorothy Cunningham. Larry later moved to Houston, TX in 1983 to work for Forest Park Memorial on Lawndale. Larry eventually started his own monument business in Pasadena, TX. He retired in 2004 because of health issues due to Rheumatoid Arthritis. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and his vintage cars. He belonged to the Bayou City Cruisers Car Club for many years. Participating in car shows, club trips and designing T-shirts for the club. Larry is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Dorothy Cunningham, two brothers, Jerry and Robert. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of thirty years Ann, two step-daughters, Geri Garlond, Linda (Mark) Rutzen, one son, Larry Allen, one sister, Debbie Barlett. Larry also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends to cherish his memories. A memorial service will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm in the Colonial Chapel. In Lieu of flowers, family request that donations be made to the Arthritis National Research Foundation, 200 Oceangate, suite 830, Long Beach, CA90802. The family wishes to thank the staff of The Courtland of Pasadena and Grace Hospice of Texas for their loving care of Larry.
