Larry Anthony Rodriguez (Big Loving) passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, at the age of 71 in Houston, Texas. Larry was born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 20, 1954. He was a lifelong resident of Houston, Texas. Larry was employed as a painter for 25 years with the City of Houston Aviation Department at George Bush Intercontinental Airport until his retirement in 2009.
A devoted member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Larry cherished his faith, his family, and his friends. He was always ready to lend a hand in times of need and enjoyed spending time with those he cared about. Larry was also one of Elvis Presley’s biggest fans and could often be found listening to his favorite music. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Tony C. Rodriguez and Sarah E. Rodrigues; his uncles, Roy Espinosa and David Espinosa; his aunt, Helen E. Centeno; and his niece, Erica Alvarez.
He is survived by his sisters, Emily Adamo and husband Sam Adamo, and Theresa Ann Ramirez and husband Joe Ramirez; his brothers, Ronald Rodriguez, Christopher Rodriguez, Marcus Rodriguez, and Michael Rodriguez; his aunts, Esther Martinez, Vera Sepulveda, Rachel San Miguel and Pauline Rodriguez; and his uncle, Ralph Espinosa. He also leaves behind his special friend, Yvonne Navarro Bonner, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Dominic Village Nursing for the care and compassion they showed their loved one during his short stay there.
