Regina I’m sorry to hear about the passing of your mother.  She was a very nice woman of God she will truly be missed. I remember my dad taking me to my first fashion show in which she was the designer and me and my sister went with him to several more showing our support. My dad and her had a beautiful relationship. I’m so glad I had the chance to meet her she was a wonderful woman. Sending prayers of comfort to you and your family from my family.

Trooper Laura was a active member and this picture was the last time of us enjoying one another in the Veterans Day parade 2024. Trooper Laura was a beautiful person inside and out. She had a beautiful soul to match it. Trooper Laura helped out in the organization and served her community with us. The memories of conversations,  gatherings,  and pictures we will forever cherish.  Thanks for sharing Trooper Laura with us. #ReadyAndForward

Ms. Laura.. professional, graceful, and fashionable woman, who not only dressed remarkably, demonstrated what a woman represents.

I served on a fund raiser with Ms. Laura and she was such a grand lady , I shared some great memories and fun times, I pray she rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to the Family of Laura Nelson.  Our long connection began some 60 plus years ago when I attended TSU with Laura's sister Barbara.   Laura was so kind, loving and welcoming to Barbara's friends during those college days and treated us just like we were her friends too.   I was so impressed with Laura's sewing talents.   She even made our bridesmaid dresses for Barbara's wedding.  I am eternally grateful for our paths crossing.  To the entire Family, just know that weeping may endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning!
