She is survived by her sons, Jesse J. and James R. Castaneda; grandchildren, Michael J., Stephen J., Jennifer M., David J., Christopher, Aaron and Amber Castaneda; sisters, Regina Romero and husband, Rodulfo, Amalia Garza and husband, Victor, Juanita Delgado and husband, Julio, Lucia Vargas and husband, Ruben; brothers, Jose Rangel, Ray Rangel, Rordolfo Sanchez and wife, Luceli.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2011 at Forest Park Lawndale from 5-9pm with a 7:30pm Rosary to be recited. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 10am at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 8150 Park Place Blvd., Houston, TX 77017 with interment immediately following at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
