

In 1954, she was united in holy matrimony to Antonio Aguirre, a successful man, photographer and owner of a self-established photography business. Their union was blessed with nine children. Lilia was a surviving widow as of August 1968. She was an ambitious warrior that continued the business legacy, striving to always provide for her children and raise them up in a loving home with good morals, education, and a strong Christian foundation.
Lilia was a God fearing woman who loved the Lord, an amazing mother, mother in law, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend to all that always saw the best in every person. She was one of the most loving, caring, and selfless person to everyone that knew her with an infectious laughter and joy that would light up a room. She was beautiful from the inside out and she never failed in setting the best example for her family to follow. There was nothing that she would not do for her family or anyone in need. Peace, love, unity, and serving others is what she was all about. She truly had a heart of pure gold. One of the many ways she would show her love was through her delicious homemade meals for everyone who came to her home. Her grandchildren were especially spoiled, as she always made sure they left well fed with a snack and a drink of choice to go. Lilia loved to wake up hearing the birds singing in the morning, she enjoyed all of nature’s beauty, traveling to many places by land, sea, and air. Most importantly, she delighted in spending great quality time with her beloved family.
Lilia Aguirre is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Sara Gonzalez, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, her husband Antonio Aguirre, her sons Arturo and Mario A. Aguirre. She is survived by her sister Fina, children Ray Antonio Aguirre, Blanca L. Villarreal, Ruben Aguirre, Alma R. Aguirre, Sonya L. Osborne, Araceli Kimmey, and Irma Aguirre. Her son in law Alfonso Villarreal, daughter in laws Martha and Sylvia Aguirre, 29 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
