Lillian Louise Steele Allen, 97, born April 4, 1918, In Franklin , Tenn. Passed away on October 7, 2015 at her home in Seabrook, TX. Lillian loved God and her family in that order. She was the daughter of Sammie Lou & Samuel Spencer Steele. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 49 years, Philip D. Allen and son Kenneth P. Allen.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Mary Lou Brewer and son, Kenneth Ray Chillson, She also leaves two daughters –in-law, eight grandchildren, fifteen- great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Her happiest time was having all of this family around her. She was a member of Seabrook Methodist Church and residence of Seabrook for 55 years. She was known for her great cooking, great beauty and being a funny lady.
A graveside service will be 1pm, on Monday, October 12, 2015, at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home and Cemetery.
