I want to extend my deepest condolences during this challenging time. I have such fond memories of Mrs. Standridge-Garies from our days together at the Methodist Hospital Lay Chaplain Institute and College. Her stories about her ministerial visits at the hospital were always inspiring, reflecting her unwavering faith and dedication. She truly embodied what it means to be a God-fearing woman. To the Standridge-Garies family: I want you to know that her spirit and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May you find comfort in the love and memories you shared, and may her faith continue to guide you through this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

The Philpott family sends their condolences to Linda’s family. Linda was a very special friend to our mom, Dollie, and our family. I have so many memories of spending time with Linda and my mom. She had a big heart and will be missed. So sorry for your loss.

Linda was such a wonderful person. She organized a housewarming party for my husband and me when we bought our first house. She was a great President of United Methodist Women. She leaves a lot of happy memories in many of our hearts. Rest in Peace Linda. My hearfelt sympathy for her family. ♥️🙏
