Lou A. Caldwell

Lou A. Caldwell was born in DeRidder, Louisiana, September 30, 1943, to parents, George and Nettie (Smith) Caldwell. She passed away in Houston, Texas on Friday, July 3, 2020 at the age of 76. She is survived by many loving family members and dear friends.

Lou retired as Chief of the Houston Central Library. She received her Master’s Degree in Library Science from the University of North Texas; managed the website for the Houston Weavers, and with a love for horses, was accomplished in Dressage.

In keeping with Lou’s wishes, no formal services are scheduled at this time, but her life will be celebrated in the hearts of family and friends and her memory will live on always.
