Louis was born on December 31, 1937 in Houston, Texas, and is preceded in death by his parents Pete and Anita Molano; sisters, Francis (Angelo) Espinoza, Lydia Soriaz, Teresa (Arthur) Castro, Marie (Eugene) Gutierrez, twins, Bertha and Pauline Molano; brothers, Pete Molano, Arthur (Eloise) Molano, Albert Molano, and Jesse Molano.
Louis is survived by his wife of 55 years, Virginia Molano; his children, Mary Pillow and Jose Molano, Sr; proud "Wello" to his grandchildren, Johnny Ramirez, Cecilia Molano, Jose Molano, Jr., Alonzo (Silvana) Davis, II, and Joseph Pillow; and great-grandchildren, Dylan Davis, Aylanah Davis, Damien Gonzales and Julian Davis. Louis leaves behind a sister, Dolores (Edward) Pazlicek.
He truly lived life through the simplest things; chatting with family and friends; snacking on what was clearly not on his diet (junk food); and channel surfing; boy, did he love watching wrestling, and those Kardashians. He found pleasure in taking on tasks around the house from painting, gardening, to creating wire hangers from paper clips, for his great-granddaughter's Barbie dolls. His sense of humor will always bring great memories to those who knew him.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Waltrip Funeral Directors. A Vigil service will begin at 6:30 p.m., led by Deacon Dennis Hayes. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Rev. Michael Barrosa, celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow in Historic Hollywood Cemetery.
