Louis F. Piercy Sr.

LOUIS FLETCHER PIERCY, SR., 79, passed away in Houston, Texas on February 5, 2015. Born February 14, 1935, he will be best remembered for his greatest beliefs; in his faith, his strong work ethic, and love for his family by setting the standard for loving husbands and fathers. Louis worked tirelessly to provide for his wife, Pat, and a full house that included their eight children as well as his sister and brother. As a young man he proudly served in the National Guard and was a loyal employee of Glazier Foods Co. where he enjoyed a career spanning 54 years.

He is now reunited with his wife of 55 years, Pat, and his brother, Anthony. Louis is survived by his children, Louis Piercy Jr. & Karen, Judy Nelson & Phil, Lawrence Piercy & Christie, Jo Piercy, Leonard Piercy & Delisa, Paul Piercy & Deslie, Brenda Perkins & David, Sheila Konarik & David, 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Jean Lehman & Terry and children, and Lena Mae Sustala and children. Visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 pm with a Rosary service beginning at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Mangum Rd. Houston TX. 77092. A committal service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale, Houston TX 77023, 713-928-5141.
