He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ellen Taylor; son Louis Taylor Jr and wife Stacie Taylor; daughters Melissa Bonin and husband Clinton Bonin, and Deborah Writtenberry and husband Ron Writtenberry; and grandchildren Louis Taylor, cari Goff, Cody Bales, Leon Taylor, Keli Bonin, Tanner Bales, and Nicole Taylor; as well as eleven great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father Louis Taylor and mother Marquerite Taylor; sister Carol Weeden; great grandson Coltin Taylor; and great granddaughter Joy Marie Bales.
Louis enjoyed is old country music, Hank Williams being one of his favorites.

A committal service will occur Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
