Mable Heard Emshoff

Mable was a longtime member of the Heights Lions Club. She was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church in the Heights. Mable worked for 16 plus years as a bookkeeper for Pearl Beer. She was also a talented seamstress, quilter, painter, and cook.

Mable was preceded in death by her husbands, J. Frank Heard, and Melvin Emshoff; daughter, Sherry Wunsch Losee; son, Jerrah “Doc” Heard; son-in-law, Paul Wunsch; grandson, Paul Barry Wunsch; great-grandchildren, Anna Kathryn Roberts, and Matthew Ryan Holmes. She is survived by her son, Frank Heard & wife Brenda; daughter-in-law, Carol Pankratz; son-in-law, Dan Losee; brother, Robert Fisher; grandchildren, Loislin Gibson, Kevin Heard, Frank Heard, Jr., Erin Holmes, Melinda Dilger, Stephen Wunsch, and Stacy Morris; good friend & companion, Eddie Munger; 16 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017, from 4-7 PM at Heights Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held the following morning at 10 AM at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery.
