Manuel worked as a machine operator for Seminole Tubular Company for 25 years. He enjoyed serving the Lord Jesus Christ and being close to his family. He was also actively involved in his church at Iglesia Bautista Belen where he was a church deacon.
His life was a testimony to the saving grace of Jesus Christ and the abiding presence of the Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Manuel, dedicated his life to walking in the light of Christ. He was baptized into the Baptist faith at an early age and remained steadfast in his commitment to the Gospel. His service as a deacon was marked by humility, compassion, and unwavering devotion to the Word of God.
Throughout his ministry, Deacon Laureano embodied the calling of Acts 6:3–4, being “a man of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom.” He faithfully assisted in the work of the church, supported the pastor, and ministered to the congregation with a servant’s heart. His prayers lifted many, his counsel guided countless souls, and his love for Jesus Christ shone brightly in every aspect of his life.
Deacon Laureano cherished his family deeply, leading them in faith and love. He was a devoted husband to Martha Laureano, a nurturing father to his 9 children, and a source of strength and encouragement to all who knew him. His legacy is one of faith, service, and love rooted in Christ.
Though we mourn his passing, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. As 2 Timothy 4:7 reminds us, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” Deacon Laureano has now received his crown of righteousness and rests in the presence of the Lord.
He leaves behind his beloved family, his church family, and a community forever touched by his witness. His memory will continue to inspire us to live faithfully, serve humbly, and proclaim boldly the name of Jesus Christ.
