Manuela G. Torres, born May 31, 1923 in Cedral, San Luis Potosi, Mexico passed away January 31, 2013 in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by husband Francisco S. Torres; loving children, Frank G. Torres and wife Mary, Robert G. Torres and wife Consuelo, Alice Leija and Beatrice G. Torres, five grandchildren and all her loved great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother and many close friends. Viewing will be from 5-9 pm with rosary starting at 7:30 on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, family chapel. Friends and relatives are cordially invited to a mass of Christian burial at ten o’clock Monday morning February 4, 2013 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 9217 Eat Avenue L, Houston, Texas 77012; interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale, Houston, Texas 77023.
