Marco was born in Tampico, Mexico to Isidoro Gomez Gamez and Maria Luz Vargas.
He is preceded in death by His parents, Maria and Isidoro and his brother Geroge Gomez. He is survived by his children, Christopher Gomez, Teresa Gomez and David Gomez and wife Lucy. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Zoe, Elias, Gabriel, and Xavier. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters; Ricky, Luis, Arturo, Christina, Gloria and Laurie.
He graduated from Milby High School in Houston, Texas in 1964.
He worked at Praxair, Houston, Texas for 38 years, and spent his retirement years doing what he loved; bike riding, dancing, traveling, and going to Conjunto concerts. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army bravely serving his country in the Vietnam War from 1965-1966.
Visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home on April 16, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, on April 17, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Committal Service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery at 11:00 am.
