Ms. Emma was preceded in death by her husband Leandro Escamilla; her parents: Abelino & Emilia Gonzalez, & two sons: Ramon Escamilla & Roberto Escamilla.
She is survived by her sons: Jose Leandro Escamilla (Marianna “Mekis”), Juan Manuel Escamilla (Gladys); daughters: Guadalupe Martinez (Conferino), Teresa Garza (Jose), Ana Maria Garcia (Antonio), Emma Delia Rodriguez (Arsenio ), Magdalena Hernandez (Silvestre), Edilia Rivera (Eduardo); 21 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
Visitation will be 5-9pm, with a rosary at 7pm, on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 10am on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, followed by graveside at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
The Escamilla family would like to thank Nora Luisa Gonzalez (Maria Emma’s niece) & Elvia Acevedo for making her final months, days & hours well taken care of.
